Biennial of Contemporary Art 2014 of Fundación ONCE in Madrid

Until September 15 you have the opportunity to see the contemporary art exhibition of the ONCE Foundation at the exhibition center CenterCenter.

The Biennial of Contemporary Art 2014 of Fundación ONCE disseminates the works of artists with some type of disability, or who have a disability as a source of inspiration.

In this fifth edition of the Biennial You can visit it at the exhibition center that the City of Madrid It has in its new headquarters Cibeles Palace.

With free entrance, you can see it on the fourth floor of the palace, where you will find artistic proposals that have the body and human diversity as a conductive body

In the exhibition the photographs have great prominence, highlighting those made with relief. Therefore, this sample is included in the circuit Photo Spain 2014.


Biennial of Contemporary Art 2014 of Fundación ONCE in Madrid

In the biennial of this year almost 40 artists participate, somewhat more than half with some disability. Among them, the photographer Luis Pérez Mínguez, one of the most recognized of the Madrid move; Cristina García Rodero, the first Spanish photographer in the prestigious international agency Magnum; the photographer and video artist Victor Meliveo; or José María Cano with his son Daniel Cano.

The exhibition also incorporates works by established artists granted by private collections, among which are Jaume Think, Marina Abramovic, Miquel Barceló or Juan Muñoz. It also highlights the work he presents Daniel Canogar.

The Visiting hours of the 2014 Biennial of Contemporary Art in CentroCentro they are, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., being closed on Mondays.
